QUALIFICATION
QualifY to EUCF DIV 1 & 2
EUCF IS THE HIGHEST level OF EUROPEAN CLUB ULTIMATE
On September 26-28, Wroclaw is returning as the location for the 2025 Finals and as host for the top 16 ranked teams in the mixed, open and women's divisions.
EUCF Div 2 is introduced the weekend before (September 20-21, also in Wroclaw) for the teams ranked 17-24
GENERAL INFORMATION
There are 16 EUCF bids per division.
These will be assigned to teams that register for the European Ultimate Club Season in 2 ways:
Wildcards given by EUF Tournaments
The EUCS Ranking System
Wild Cards
Following Tournaments assign a wildcard for the EUCF in each Division:
EUF Elite Invite (1 tournament per division) - 1 Wildcard to the winner
EUF Summer Tour (3 to 5 tournaments per division) - 1 Wildcard to the winners
In case a Team that already qualified through a Wildcard is winning another one - the second Wildcard will not be given to the runner-up of that tournament.
Seeding at the EUCF will be determined solely by the final regular season ranking of the teams.
Ranking System
Teams can earn EUCS Ranking Points by participating in EUF or EUF-Approved Tournaments or EUF-Approved Single Games.
EUF tournaments are:
EUF Spring Tour
EUF Elite Invite
EUF Summer Tour
EUF-Approved Tournaments are requested to be considered for the EUCS Ranking System and fulfil specific minimum standards. Invitation Tournaments, but also national championships, can be EUF-Approved tournaments → See EUF-Approved Tournaments.
It is also possible to have single games to be considered for the ranking system, previous approval of EUF. → See EUF-Approved Single Games
Each game between teams that registered in the EUCS at the beginning of the season AND that have submitted a roster for an EUF-Tournement, an EUF-Approved Tournament, or an EUF-Approved Single Game will be considered in the EUCS Ranking system.
Games vs teams not part of the System or did not submit a tournament roster don’t count for ranking points.
A team that attends 2 (two) EUF tournaments fulfils all requirements to be considered at the end of the season for the EUCF bids, for sure.
The algorithm will calculate a ranking using the various tournament/game data. The more data, the more accurate the ranking.
Minimal requirements qualification consideration in the EUCF
Regardless of whether a team got a wildcard for the EUCF or is high enough in the EUF ranking system, a team must fulfil the following criteria by the end of the EUCS regular season to be eligible for a bid for the EUCF:
1. The team has attended at least 1 (one) EUF tournament during the season.
2. The team has at least 10 (ten) game results against other EUCS teams during the season. These 10 games can be from:
1. Games during EUF Tournaments
2. Games during the EUF-Approved Tournament
3. EUF-Approved Single Games
4. All games must be against an EUCS Team that also submitted a Roster for the Tournament/Game.
