Ranking

How does the ranking system work and what is included?

  • More games are more data. Doesn't necessarily get you more points. If you do well, it does.

  • Yes - Summer Tour is the season's last weekend, so there is no time to do that.

Now, you could say the same about a team winning Elite Invite and giving ranking points to a close friend.

A few things: we hope teams adhere to the spirit of the game. Intentionally losing to give points to another team would clearly be against that.

We are also authorized to investigate scores that seem suspicious, and the EUF has the right to throw out games if they want to. We would never use that under normal circumstances, but something this clear and brazen would likely raise a red flag.

We have a few days between the end of the season and the release of the final rankings to check and investigate very strange anomalies in those days.

Game fixing is a crime. If it happens and it comes out, there will be severe consequences for both teams and players. We doubt that so many players would take such a risk to make a favour to another team.

  • Any local event is accepted for us + with the EUF-approved systems also small local events can count.

  • Yes - you can take a look at it on the ranking app:

  • currently, it doesn't fit. National federations can adapt their calendar to help their teams get the national championships into the system - based on national specifics and the calendar, this is not easy, and we understand that. For the future we will evaluate other options

  • EUCF seeding will be done by the Ranking System

  • you can read all about the ranking system here: https://ranking.ultimatefederation.eu/

  • Yes, we will have a dedicated page with lots of features that allow you to understand the algorithm, and matchups, and you can follow the season!

we will update it regularly so the season is up to date!

  • Everybody starts at 0 at the beginning of the season

  • Each time the ranking is run it starts from 0 and runs all games at once.

  • If teams drop out of EUF tournaments they will be disqualified for the rest of the season and therefore for EUCF. We are working on a more complete sanction catalogue.

  • The games still count towards the EUCS teams they played against.
