Eligibility + Roster

What are the rules for rostering and moving players?

  • No it is not possible to play women's at spring and mixed at elite. That is outside the transfer window. Yes it is possible for some players to switch during the transfer period - the limitation of roster moves stays the same.

    Mixed: 5

    Open: 3

    Women: 5

  • A team is defined by its roster - the master roster needs to contain all potential players for every tournament.

If a team is playing an EUF tournament and registers in an EUF-approved tournament as well where they want to get ranking points - it is currently allowed.

It is not possible to have two teams in the EUCS system and merge them later in the season. It is not possible to get an exception to our move rule.

if you decide to create two teams in our system - fine, but you also have to deal with the consequences

if you stick with one giant team, that is also fine, but it is impossible to send two teams to the EU tournaments.

  • Option 1: only select 14 players in the master roster and take Add-ons later

Option 2: get all your trialists in and delete those who did not participate in a tournament later

ATTENTION: Both these options must be performed by your national federation master roster admin. This person is the only one that can modify master rosters

  • Add-ons are players who were not rostered by any other team. You don’t have a limitation in adding players like this until the 15th July

  • No - Every team decides themselves what EUF-Approved tournaments they want to count towards their EUCS. If you want to use tournaments for tra-outs, preparation or just for fun, you can still do so - you simply don’t submit a roster for said tournament and the roster rules don’t apply to you.

Important: this ONLY applies to EUF-Approved tournaments. EUF Tournaments (Tours) will always count towards your season and the roster rules apply.

  • There is only a technical limitation of 100 players. So, the master roster needs to have min. 14 players in the beginning and can have as much players as you want.

  • Similar as to WFDF rules.

Max. player numbers for EUF tournaments are 26.
